This photo was taken on October 23, 2018, at Birdsfoot Farm, right outside the barn which stores and protects the tractor. Farm work is difficult. It takes extensive time and energy to prepare the fields, plant the crops, and then ultimately harvest the crops for sale. This photo is showing Dulli driving the tractor, John I believe it's named, in order to plant garlic bulbs. Birdsfoot plants over 10,000 garlic bulbs per season and without large equipment like this tractor Dulli would have to spend more of her very limited time to get everything planted. Large equipment is sometimes very frustrating –– it took almost 10 minutes to get the tractor running –– but they are extremely helpful in order to get the job done.
