Ground Cherry Harvest 9/29/18

These are ground cherries, a plant considered to be a cross between a tomato and a grape, that were harvested at LittleGrasse Foodworks at the end of September. They are commonly used for jam, although they can be eaten by themselves as well. The ripe ground cherries are the ones with a darker brown color, while the green ones are not quite ready yet, and both types were harvested.
