Painting like Picasso

Alvaro Trejo intently paints an abstract piece as a student within the Mexican School of Down Art. His Picasso-like, cubist abilities challenge common societal generalizations about the capabilities of mentally disabled individuals. The photo reflects the NYSARC Community Arts beliefs that disabled individuals are not defined by their disabilities. They have more depth to themselves and their extremely talented art abilities validate this.
